Job summary

Save the Children International is seeking a Field Office Supply Chain Officer for Sumba to support end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, warehousing, fleet and asset management, and office operations to ensure timely delivery of program activities.

Based in Sumba, the role works with program, finance, and national supply chain teams to maintain compliant systems, handle documentation, and coordinate emergency logistics as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field, or 2 years of NGO procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel within Sumba region and to emergency sites.
• Based in Sumba or willing to relocate to Sumba.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end procurement for programmatic and operational needs.
• Maintain warehouse and inventory records, monthly reconciliations.
• Track asset and fleet management, including vehicle scheduling.
• Coordinate with finance for timely payments and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
• Maintain documentation and support audit and compliance checks.
