Job summary

PT ALCOTEC CABLE INDONESIA seeks a Senior Sales Manager to drive cable and wire business in the United States. The role requires frequent US travel to visit suppliers, distributors, EPC contractors, and industrial clients, coordinating with Indonesian technical and production teams.

You will develop the US market in line with UL standards, build long-term relationships, lead negotiations, and provide strategic recommendations to support growth while ensuring orders meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international trade or international sales.
• Experience in cable and wire industry, electrical equipment, or building materials preferred.
• Experience or understanding of the US market is an advantage.
• Willing to conduct regular travel to the US, including multiple trips per year; US visa such as B1/B2 is a plus.
• Professional English language proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing; ability to conduct independent business negotiations.
• Good Mandarin Chinese communication ability to coordinate with Indonesia management and technical teams.
• Competitive compensation package: Base salary plus sales commission or performance bonus.
• All business travel costs covered by company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular business travel to the US to visit material suppliers, electrical distributors, EPC contractors, and industrial clients
• Develop and expand cable and wire business in accordance with UL standards
• Build and maintain long‑term cooperative relationships with buyers and distributors in the US
• Manage commercial negotiations, contract implementation, and project follow‑up
• Conduct direct meetings with clients during business travel to the US
• Manage client needs and requests from Indonesia when not travelling
• Collaborate with technical and production teams to ensure orders are fulfilled according to client requirements
• Gather information on cable and wire market trends in the US
• Monitor price developments and certification requirements
• Provide strategic recommendations to support US market development
