Job summary

Ayana seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Human Resources to join our Labuan Bajo property in East Nusa Tenggara. You will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support our goals and objectives.

You will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and GA functions, with a strong focus on leadership and strategic HR delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• At least 10 years of HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership in a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Experience developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
• Experience managing a workforce of 250+ colleagues.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS systems.
• Experience handling audits and developing SOPs.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to relocate to Labuan Bajo, Flores.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage HR policies and programs aligned with strategic objectives.
• Oversee recruitment and selection, ensuring compliance and effective employee relations.
• Lead employee engagement and talent management initiatives, including succession planning.
• Support General Affairs functions for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with departmental goals.
• Monitor manpower planning, staffing, and HR-related expenses with other departments.
• Stay updated on HR trends and employment regulations to maintain compliant practices.
