Job summary

Epiroc in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned business development professional to drive Percussive Drilling new business in the SSEA region, collaborating with regional BLM Tools & Attachment teams and Territory Managers to map markets and establish distributors.

The role requires delivering value through product knowledge, understanding customer needs, and benchmarking competitors, while serving as the main contact for inquiries from customers in Jakarta and Balikpapan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining or engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in business development, marketing or sales engineering with international customers.
• Experience in mining and/or construction applications.
• Experience in production/mining industries is an asset.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills across all stakeholder levels.
• Result oriented with discipline to timelines and targets.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry and its market.
• Strong understanding of commercial documentation/ contracts is an asset.
• Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
• Analytical capacity and development of strategies.
• Excellent English reading, writing and verbal skills.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Percussive Drilling new businesses in the SSEA region in collaboration with SSEA Regional BLM Tools & Attachment and Territory Managers.
• Map potential markets in SSEA countries and establish relationships with distributorships or indirect channels.
• Provide value-based solutions through excellent product and application knowledge to customers and prospects.
• Understand customer needs and perform competitive benchmarking to improve channel effectiveness.
• Act as the main contact for inquiries from customers and prospects for Percussive Drilling products.
• Conduct market intelligence and track market trends to define effective regional business strategies.
• Serve as the main communication contact with the RDT division, especially THE, DTH and HHE.
