Job summary

PT Epiroc Southern Asia is seeking a Business Development Manager for Percussive Drilling in Jakarta. The role focuses on creating new business in the Southeast Asia region by collaborating with regional teams and managers, while mapping markets and establishing distributorships or indirect channels.

You will deliver value-based product knowledge to customers, understand their needs, and benchmark competitors to enhance channel effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, sales, engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, marketing or sales engineering with international customers.
• Experience in mining and/or construction applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Percussive Drilling new businesses in the SSEA region by collaborating with regional teams and Territory Managers.
• Map potential Percussive Drilling markets in SSEA and establish distributorship or other indirect channels.
• Deliver a value-based approach by sharing product and application knowledge with customers.
• Understand customer needs and benchmark competitors to strengthen channel effectiveness.
• Act as the main contact for customer inquiries related to Percussive Drilling products.
• Provide market intelligence to define a regional business development strategy.

Job description

Business Development Manager Percussive Drilling

• Develop the Percussive Drilling new businesses in SSEA region byclosely collaborating with SSEA Regional BLM Tools & Attachment, and Territory Managers.
• Map the potential market of Percussive Drilling products in countrieswithin SSEA region and establish relationship with potential saleschannels: distributorship or other indirect sales channels.
• Provide a value-based business approach towards customers andpotential customers by delivering excellent product and application
  knowledge.
• Responsible for understanding the customers and potential customersneeds and perform a competitive benchmarking for better leverage of
  channel effectiveness.
• Act as the main person to contact for enquiries coming from customersand potential customers for Percussive Drilling products.
• Perform a market intelligence and update the market trend of PercussiveDrilling products and customers, using both to define an effectivebusiness development strategy in the region.
• As a main contact person for any communication with RDT division,
  especially THE, DTH and HHE.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in mining Engineering, Sales, Engineering,Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering,Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or similar an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business developmentfunctions, Marketing or Sales engineering, working with international
  customers.
• Experience in mining and/or construction applications.
• Experience in production and mining industries / environments is anasset.
• Experience working in complex, interdisciplinary, cross-functional,and global team.
• Excellent communication & presentation skill to various levels ofstakeholders.
• Result oriented person with discipline to timeline and targets.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry and its market.
• Strong understanding of commercial documentation / contracts is anasset.
• Good organizational, planning and follow up skills.
• Analytical capacity and oriented to the development of strategies.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
