Job summary

PT Shiva Industries Indonesia is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new account acquisition and territory growth across Bali and expansion regions. You will sell a technical, capital equipment solution to hotels, resorts, and government-adjacent facilities, requiring a consultative, relationship-driven approach.

This role demands strong product knowledge, coordinating with operations and engineering, and maintaining a disciplined CRM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in industrial equipment, hospitality procurement, or sustainability-related products.
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Comfortable presenting technical product information to sophisticated buyers, not just relationship-based selling.
• Self-directed and territory-oriented — able to manage accounts across multiple islands with limited daily supervision.
• High integrity in representing product claims; we compete on substance, not exaggeration.
• Existing relationships with hotel groups, property management companies, or facilities management in Bali or Indonesia strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new accounts across hotels, resorts, villas, and commercial properties in Bali and expansion territories.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through technical presentation, proposal, and close.
• Understand and clearly communicate the technical differentiation of Shiva's machines against competitors — including accurately representing performance data rather than relying on inflated marketing claims.
• Maintain disciplined CRM and pipeline reporting.
• Represent Shiva professionally in a competitive landscape where former affiliates and competitors actively target our existing customer base.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to ensure what is sold matches what is deliverable.
