Job summary

JD Sports Indonesia in Samarinda is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our in-store team and deliver first-class customer service. You will drive sales, mentor staff, and ensure stock visibility and compelling visual merchandising across the store.

The role requires a track record in retail leadership, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to work five days a week including public holidays. Placement: Samarinda.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer retention by providing first-class service.
• Deal with enquiries and complaints and resolve the issue/request.
• Drive consistency within your internal teams to achieve the highest service levels.
• Following a weekly brief, ensure that this is applied to your store and maintain high visual standards.
• Attract, engage and motivate customers into making purchases in store by using the latest visual techniques.
• Make sure that all new products and advertised product is all visible and in the correct locations.
• Build, develop and manage your team, train them and develop their expertise and know-how
• Develop existing team members and encourage progression within the company.
• Hold regular training meetings within the store, making sure the team around you are able to maintain the high standards required.

Requirement

• At least 6 years of working experience in the retail industry or related field, preferably have experience as a Store Manager with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Possess good customer service, driven to achieve sales targets, strong leadership, & hard worker.
• Have good interpersonal skills, be good at problem-solving, & good at communication.
• Willing to work on shifts
• Ready to work 5 days a week and work on public holidays
