Job summary

Bukalapak is seeking a Store Development Officer to lead the end-to-end development and fit-out of new stores on a 6-month contract in Indonesia. You will shape concepts, coordinate designs, and manage site progress with contractors to ensure opening readiness.

You should have a relevant degree and up to 2 years of experience coordinating construction and retail projects, with strong AutoCAD skills and willingness to travel to sites. Join a dynamic retail expansion team and bring spaces to life.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, fit-out, retail, property, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Basic understanding of construction, fit-out, architectural drawings, and site activities is preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to read, understand, and make basic revisions to architectural or technical drawings.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and willing to conduct regular site visits and follow up on project activities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace; familiarity with design or project management tools is a plus.
  • Willing to travel to project sites as required.
  • Willing to work on a 6-month contract basis.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end development and fit-out of new stores, from initial store concept and proposal development through fit-out, handover, and opening readiness.
  • Develop initial store concepts, layouts, space plans, and project proposals based on operational and brand requirements, and coordinate further development with external vendors and consultants.
  • Identify and source potential contractors and vendors based on project requirements, capabilities, track record, and commercial considerations, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders throughout the vendor selection process.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site surveys and site readiness checks, and monitor fit-out progress through regular site visits to ensure execution aligns with approved plans, timelines, and standards.
  • Review and coordinate architectural drawings, technical documents, quotations, and project deliverables with relevant stakeholders and vendors.
  • Coordinate final site inspections, follow up on outstanding works and rectifications, and ensure completed stores are ready for opening.
