Job summary

Pullman Jakarta Indonesia is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the Stewarding team across all F&B outlets and banquet operations, ensuring cleanliness, proper equipment handling, and timely set-ups.

You will train staff, monitor daily performance, coordinate closely with Culinary and Restaurant teams, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a safe, organized work environment in our Central Jakarta hotel. This is an on-site, full-time role with opportunities for growth within Accor.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality or stewarding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with teams and other departments.
• Ability to work in noisy, high-pressure environments with composure.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership and ability to train and develop staff.
• Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Flexible, adaptable to changing operations.
• Knowledge of stewarding operations and kitchen equipment.
• Strong conflict resolution and empathetic communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Stewarding team in various functions of food service, including cleaning and organization of F&B areas in the hotel and banquets equipment.
• Receive and store products in the kitchens.
• Provide professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues.
• Supervise, train, and develop the Stewarding team.
• Review banquet event orders and ensure setups meet requisitions.
• Check equipment daily and report defects or malfunctions to Stewarding Management.
• Follow department policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including all equipment and storage spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
