Job summary

PT Young Indonesia Pratama is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented STAFF PURCHASING IMPORT to join the procurement team in Green Lake Tangerang Banten. This full-time role focuses on managing international purchasing and inventory operations.

You will handle end-to-end import purchasing, coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders, prepare PIB and shipping documents, and monitor delivery schedules and customs clearance to ensure smooth operations. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Economics, International Trade, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing Import, EXIM, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with customs clearance and import processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end import purchasing process from supplier to delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments for import activities.
• Prepare and check import documents including PIB, shipping documents, LS, PI, and other required documents.
• Monitor PO, shipment, delivery schedules, and customs clearance process.
• Source and compare suppliers to obtain best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding AP, invoices, and payment schedules.
• Ensure import activities comply with customs and import regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems.
• Perform other purchasing and import-related tasks as required.

About the role

PT Young Indonesia Pratama is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented STAFF PURCHASING IMPORT to join our dynamic procurement team. This full-time position is based in Green Lake Tangerang Banten and will play a crucial role in managing our international purchasing and inventory operations.

What you'll be doing

Handle end-to-end import purchasing process, from supplier to delivery.

Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments for import activities.

Prepare and check import documents, including PIB, shipping documents, LS, PI, and other required documents.

Monitor PO, shipment, delivery schedule, and customs clearance process.

Source and compare suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery terms.

Coordinate with Finance regarding AP, invoices, and payment schedules.

Ensure import activities comply with applicable customs and import regulations.

Maintain proper documentation and filing systems.

Perform other purchasing and import-related tasks as required.

What we're looking for

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Good command of Business English for communication with overseas suppliers.

Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
