About the role We are seeking a Staff Accounting and Tax to join our team at our Cengkareng Jakarta office on a full-time basis. This role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of PT Transindo Infotek. As Staff Accounting and Tax, you will be responsible for managing accounting transactions, tax compliance and financial record-keeping. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely tax submissions, contributing directly to the company's operational efficiency and legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

Recording and reconciling daily accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, payroll and expenses

Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and supporting schedules

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Managing tax compliance matters, including calculating and filing tax returns in accordance with Indonesian regulations

Preparing tax documentation and maintaining tax records for audit purposes

Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies

Supporting the finance team with year-end closing procedures and financial audits

Maintaining accurate and organised financial documentation and records

Communicating with tax authorities and external accountants as required

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Clerk or similar accounting role, ideally 2-3 years minimum

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting standards

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Excellent numerical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial accounting practices

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Good communication skills in Indonesian and English (written and verbal)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of payroll processing and benefits administration is advantageous

Experience with tax compliance and submissions would be highly valued
