PT Donlim Technology Indonesia is seeking a Staff Pajak (Mandarin Speaker) to join our Accounting and Taxation team in Demak, Central Java. This full-time role focuses on Indonesian tax compliance, tax reporting, and advisory support across departments while leveraging Mandarin language skills to engage with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

You're expected to have a degree in accounting or taxation, 3–5 years of tax experience in Indonesia, and proficiency with tax software.

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in Indonesian taxation or a similar tax compliance role.
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency with tax software and accounting systems; experience with Indonesian tax filing systems is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Professional communication in Indonesian, English, and Mandarin.

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Pajak (Mandarin Speaker) to join our Accounting and Taxation department on a full-time basis at our office in Demak, Central Java. This is a strategic position within our finance function, playing a crucial role in ensuring PT Donlim Technology Indonesia remains compliant with Indonesian tax regulations whilst optimising our tax position. You will be responsible for managing tax-related duties with precision and professionalism, supporting both operational and strategic financial objectives of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and filing corporate income tax returns, value added tax (VAT) returns and other mandatory tax documentation in compliance with Indonesian tax legislation
• Conducting tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax efficiency and ensure proper tax treatment of business transactions
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive tax records and documentation, ensuring all filing deadlines are met
• Liaising with Indonesian tax authorities (Direktorat Jenderal Pajak) on tax audits, inquiries and compliance matters
• Providing tax advisory support to internal departments regarding the tax implications of proposed transactions and business decisions
• Monitoring changes in Indonesian tax regulations and ensuring the company's tax practices remain current and compliant
• Reconciling tax provisions with actual tax payments and preparing tax accrual analyses
• Communicating effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, clients and partners where required
• Supporting the tax compliance calendar and ensuring timely completion of all tax obligations

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Indonesian taxation or a similar tax compliance role
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) – this is essential for the role
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations and procedures, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and other applicable taxes
• Proficiency with tax software and accounting systems; experience with Indonesian tax filing systems is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with colleagues from different departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Professional communication skills in both Indonesian and English, in addition to Mandarin
• Certification such as Badan Sertifikasi Internasional (BSI) or equivalent tax professional qualification is preferred but not mandatory
