PT. Berkat Jiwa Raga (ReKlub) in West Jakarta is seeking a Tax Accounting professional to manage corporate tax, VAT returns, and tax strategy within our Finance and Compliance team. Full-time role focused on accuracy, compliance, and optimisation of tax position.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of tax accounting experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulation, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. You will report to the Finance Department and collaborate with external advisors.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance.
• Brevet A or Brevet B Indonesian tax qualification is highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience in tax accounting in corporate or advisory setting.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws: corporate income tax, VAT, PIT, and withholding tax.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP or tax software is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accounting professional to join our growing team at PT. Berkat Jiwa Raga (ReKlub) in West Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring our organisation maintains compliance with all taxation regulations whilst optimising our tax position. As a Tax Accounting specialist, you will be responsible for managing complex tax matters, preparing accurate tax returns, and providing strategic tax advice to support our business objectives. This role is integral to our Finance and Compliance department and directly impacts our financial performance and regulatory standing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns, including income tax and value-added tax (VAT) returns, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations
• Maintain comprehensive tax documentation and records, ensuring all supporting materials are organised and readily available for audit purposes
• Calculate and process tax provisions, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with accounting standards and tax legislation
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, and assess the impact on the organisation's tax obligations and strategies
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and potential risks for the company
• Prepare detailed tax reconciliations between financial records and tax returns to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors during tax audits and regulatory examinations
• Support the Finance team with tax-related queries from operational departments and provide guidance on tax compliance matters
• Maintain accurate records of all tax payments and ensure timely submission of tax filings to relevant authorities
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance

What we ’re looking for

• A professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, such as a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Professional certification in taxation or accounting, such as Brevet A, Brevet B or equivalent Indonesian tax qualification, is highly desirable
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax accounting, preferably within a corporate finance, accounting firm, or taxation department
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax legislation, including corporate income tax, VAT, personal income tax, and withholding tax requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with tax software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex tax computations accurately
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tax documentation and filings
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
• A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with current tax regulations and best practices
