Job summary

WIK Group in Indonesia is seeking a QA Specialist to lead the SPC team in our die casting operations. You will define test plans, review quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across processes to ensure product reliability and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical/electrical engineering with 3+ years in quality assurance, experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 audits, and proficiency in Minitab, SAP, and 7QC tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead SPC team activities in die casting and address quality issues.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 alignment with updated standards.
• Train inspectors on new part/product standards and release processes.
• Monitor process quality and coordinate audits with relevant departments.
• Provide proactive feedback for corrective actions and 6S within QA.

Your Tasks

• Manage and supervise all activities of SPC team at Die Casting. Provide disposition and direction related to quality issues found by SPC and define, review, and update test plan in RQM to be performed by SPC.
• Keep the system of ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 in consistent with the updated company operation, plus consistency with the most updated international standard.
• Performed internal training for new part/product standard to inspector and responsible for key process release & process/product evaluation based on systematic approach such as MSA, process capability study for internal and external customer.
• Monitor quality performance at respective processes and work with related departments to achieve quality targets. Conduct process audit internal & support preparation for external audit and follow up on internal audit complaints.
• Provide proactive and constructive feedback to system and product problems with the aim of corrective action and support 6S implementation within QA department.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical and electrical, with minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
• Support on the continuous improvements and provide technical advice or proposal or methods to the management regarding productivity/efficiency, innovation, cost savings, quality of products and other defined performance indicators.
• Familiar with decision making for disposition, managing IPQC, customers complaint management quality of products and other defined performance indicators. Good with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 internal auditor, Minitab, Microsoft office, 8D, 7QC tools and SAP.
• Fluent in English reading, good attitude, adaptability to company culture, teamwork spirit and influence skills, problem solving skills, able to multi-task and perform well under pressure and seek continuous improvement in quality, active listening, presentation skills.
