Job summary

PT Scuro Lavino is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the quality department across the full lifecycle, from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring ISO compliance and customer specs.

You will implement and maintain the QMS, conduct internal audits, manage CAPA, supervise laboratories and calibration, and lead supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8–10 years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in managerial quality role.
• Strong knowledge of QC tools.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and lab equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems and Quality Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and other certifications.
• Conduct internal quality audits and manage CAPA.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections.
• Manage the laboratory and calibration of all measurement and testing equipment.
• Set clear Quality Control Plans and acceptance criteria for raw materials and finished goods.
• Utilize statistical tools to identify root causes of defects and reduce scrap rates.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to optimize yield.
• Manage the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) program, including supplier audits and performance evaluations.
• Host external audits from certification bodies and key clients.

Your goal is to ensure that our manufacturing processes comply with international standards (ISO), meet customer specifications, and continuously improve through Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and other relevant certifications

Conduct regular internal quality audits and manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system.

Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections.

Manage the laboratory and calibration of all measurement and testing equipment.

Set clear Quality Control Plans and acceptance criteria for raw materials and finished goods.

Utilize statistical tools to identify root causes of defects and reduce scrap rates.
