Job summary

PT. Visindo Prima Nusantara is seeking a pre-sales engineer to gather customer needs, design security solutions, and present technical demonstrations. You will liaise between customers and internal teams and coordinate with vendors to secure information, pricing, and equipment for project delivery.

The role requires strong English communication, deep firewall and routing knowledge, and a proactive, customer-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Network Security, firewall and solution design, and pre-sales support.
• Experience with major vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall.
• Experience configuring network security devices.
• Experience in a project or implementation related to network or firewall.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Gather information from customers to identify customer needs.
• Analyze, develop, and propose technical solutions (technology and equipment).
• Create design documents, bill of materials, scope of works, schedules, and proposals.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (POC) to clients.
• Provide pre-sales technical consultation and act as key technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with external parties (vendors, principals, distributors) to obtain required information including price, demo equipment, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide required information before project commencement.
