Job summary

Mekari, Indonesia’s leading SaaS company, is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Jakarta. You will design test cases from requirements, execute manual tests, and report defects while leveraging low-code/no-code platforms to validate business rules and workflows.

Strong Indonesian communication is required. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in QA for SaaS, familiarity with at least one automation tool, and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer in a SaaS environment (or equivalent internship with hands-on test case creation).
• Ability to independently design test cases from requirement documents.
• Hands-on testing and structured bug reporting.
• Understanding of low-code/no-code platforms and how rules/workflows are validated without source code.
• Working knowledge of at least one automation tool.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer in a SaaS environment (or equivalent internship experience involving hands‑on test case creation).

• Test Case Design: Candidates must possess a proven ability to independently design test cases from requirement documents.

• Testing & Reporting: Hands‑on experience with manual testing and structured bug reporting.

• Low‑Code Platform: A critical requirement is understanding or having hands‑on experience with low‑code/no‑code platforms, specifically understanding how business rules and workflows are validated without traditional source code.

• Automation: Candidates must have working knowledge of at least one automation tool or a strong aptitude to learn it quickly.

• Communication: Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have

• Certification & Methodology: ISTQB Foundation Level certification and Agile/Scrum experience are preferred.

• AI Tools: Candidates should demonstrate the use of AI tools to improve test coverage.

• UX Awareness: Candidates should possess UX awareness to articulate usability issues.
