Job summary

PT Starlit Energy Indonesia is seeking an engineer to participate in firmware and hardware-level software development, validate designs, and support certification processes. The role involves device testing, data sheet preparation, and delivering customer training.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in electronics/related fields, strong HW/SW integration knowledge, debugging skills, and willingness to travel for customer visits and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree with emphasis on electronics or computer engineering
• Experience with firmware and hardware interaction is preferred
• Strong understanding of HW/SW integration and debugging techniques
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, sensors, or smart device networks
• Experience with whitebox and blackbox testing is valuable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and project support

Responsibilities

• Participate in product design and development, especially firmware and hardware-level software
• Validate software and firmware designs to meet product and hardware specs

• Conduct product testing, device evaluation, and system validation
• Deliver product presentations and provide customer training
• Provide technical support and guidance on operation, integration, and applications of products
• Analyze and troubleshoot client technical issues and interfaces
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Sales to support development and customer requirements
• Prepare technical documentation and support bidding/tender processes

Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development is highly preferred.

Good understanding of hardware-software integration, electronics components, and debugging techniques.

Experience in whitebox and blackbox testing.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in product design and development, particularly in firmware and hardware-level software applications.

Validate software and firmware designs and ensure functionality meets product and hardware specifications.

Support product certification processes and participate in internal and external technical audits.

Conduct product testing, device evaluation, and system validation activities.

Deliver product presentations and provide product training to customers.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the operation, integration, and application of the company’s products.

Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, interfaces, or communication dropouts encountered by customers and provide appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Sales teams to support product development and customer requirements.

Prepare technical documentation, application notes, and support the sales team during bidding and tender processes.
