WIK - ELEKTROGERÄTE Entwicklungs- und Service-GmbH & Co. KG is seeking an experienced Product/Production Engineer to join its growing team in Indonesia.

You will drive NPI readiness, manage BOM accuracy, and partner with process and equipment engineering to optimize manufacturing interfaces. The role requires 8+ years in product/production engineering with at least 3 years in supervisory leadership, strong RCA expertise, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product/production engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in supervisory/team leadership with responsibility for people and technical project management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product specifications, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation are accurate, controlled, and aligned with manufacturing requirements.
• Drive structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Why, fishbone, pareto, FMEA, DOE, and other methodologies.
• Lead analysis and management of BOM, MBOM, and PBOM to ensure accuracy and alignment between product design and manufacturing requirements and product engineering activities for NPI.
• Collaborate with process and equipment engineering to optimize the interface between product design and manufacturing processes.
• Lead analysis of product quality, defect, failure, warranty, production, and process data to identify trends and systemic issues, coach, and develop Product Engineers; establish and monitor Product Engineering KPIs.
• Cross-functional & project management; coordinate with related department and suppliers.

Your Tasks

Establish and monitor Product Engineering KPIs.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, electrical and mechatronics engineering, minimum of 8 years of experience in product/production engineering and minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory, team leadership, with demonstrated responsibility for people and technical project management.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, ownership, accountability, and ability to develop team members. Able to motivate and influence team members toward common business objectives.
• Strong knowledge of product failure analysis and structured RCA. Proficient in 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, FMEA, DOE, and other problem-solving tools, experience of BOM, MBOM, PBOM, product configuration, and material structures.
• Continuous learning mindset, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex engineering problems.
• Fluent in English reading, speaking and written, solid skill for Microsoft office and good attitude, adaptability to company culture, teamwork spirit and influence skills, problem solving skills, able to handle multi-task and seek continuous improvement, active listening, presentation skills.
