Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for IoT and industrial products.
- Implement robust firmware using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and low-power operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain firmware lifecycle documentation, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
- Support product manufacturing, deployment, and continuous engineering improvements.
- Deliver projects on schedule while meeting quality and customer requirements.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in embedded firmware or embedded systems development.
- Proficient in C/C++ programming; Python or Bash is advantageous.
- Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with embedded microcontrollers such as STM32, Renesas RL78 or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of UART, SPI, I²C, USB, RS-485, RS-232 and embedded communication protocols.
- Experience implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- Knowledge of LTE Cat-1, LTE-M, NB-IoT, or other wireless communication technologies is preferred.
- Experience using version control and project management tools such as Git, SVN & Jira.
- Experience using debugging and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
