Job summary

PT Starlit Energy Indonesia is seeking a Presales Engineer to join the team in Jakarta. You will participate in product design, validate mechanical designs, and support certifications while coordinating with R&D, Production, and Sales to align customer needs with technical capabilities.

The role requires a strong engineering background, CAD proficiency, and excellent communication skills to deliver technical presentations and training to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a strong foundation in hardware systems or product integration.
• Proficiency in CAD and 3D design software is required.
• Experience in whitebox and blackbox testing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product design and development, particularly for integrating internal components into mechanical enclosures and systems.
• Validate mechanical designs and ensure product functionality, IP rating, and security measures meet specifications.
• Support product certification processes and audits with regulatory bodies.
• Conduct product testing, evaluation, and validation activities (including hardware calibration and field performance testing).
• Deliver product presentations and provide product training to customers.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding operation, application, and compliance of the company’s products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues encountered by customers and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Sales to support product development, tender alignment, and customer requirements.

Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a strong foundation in hardware systems or product integration.

Proficiency in CAD and 3D design software is required.

Experience in whitebox and blackbox testing.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex project requirements.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Willing to travel for customer visits and project support when required.
