PT Teknologi Weldim Indonesia in Jakarta is seeking a Software Engineering Project Manager to lead end-to-end software development lifecycles, from architectural planning to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
You will own sprint planning, resource allocation, risk control, and quality assurance, while translating technical progress into clear dashboards for executive leadership and stakeholders to drive timely, high-quality releases.
Position Title: Software Engineering Project Manager
Department: Information Technology / Software Engineering
Reporting to: Head of IT / Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Engineering & SDLC Governance: Drive end-to-end software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid) from architectural planning to deployment and maintenance.
Sprint Planning & Scheduling: Define sprint goals, build detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), maintain backlogs, and ensure predictable release cycles.
Resource & Capacity Management: Allocate engineering resources efficiently across frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps teams to maximize team velocity.
Risk Management & Quality Control: Identify technical bottlenecks, manage scope creep, and implement quality management standards to ensure scalable, bug-free releases.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Translate complex technical progress into clear status reports and dashboards for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership & Conflict Resolution: Facilitate daily stand-ups, retro meetings, and technical problem-solving sessions while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1/D4) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related technical discipline.
Technical & Core Competencies: Direct experience or demonstrated capability in one or more of the following:
Software Project Management & SDLC frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
Project Planning, Roadmapping, Scheduling & Quality Assurance
Risk Mitigation, Resource Allocation & Capacity Planning
Project Performance Monitoring, Velocity Metrics & Stakeholder Reporting
Technical Leadership, Problem-Solving, Cross-Functional Communication & Negotiation
Tools & Certifications (Plus):
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or PMP are highly preferred.
