Job summary

Talent Insider is seeking an experienced Project Planning and Coordination leader to oversee site activities, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and manage detailed project schedules to meet milestones within budget.

The ideal candidate will lead on-site teams, supervise subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, monitor quality, and control budgets and resources while communicating with clients and suppliers to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Age 35-40 years.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Understand drawings (AutCAD, etc.), RAB, cost control.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, factories.
• Preferably with Japanese construction firms; non-Japanese welcome.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee site activities to meet milestones within budget and deadlines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders to align goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and site logistics.
• Lead on-site personnel, subcontractors, and staff; conduct daily briefings and motivate the team.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance and promote safety training.
• Monitor quality, conduct inspections, and maintain quality records and reports.
• Manage budgets, costs, procurement, and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors and suppliers; provide project updates.

Job Description

Project Planning and Coordination

• Plan and oversee site activities to ensure project milestones are met within budget and deadlines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align project goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and site logistics.

Team Leadership and Supervision

• Manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors, laborers, and staff.
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate project objectives, progress, and safety protocols.
• Motivate and guide the team to ensure high productivity and quality standards.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards).
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address hazards or non-compliance issues.
• Promote a culture of safety through training and awareness programs.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor construction or production quality to meet project specifications and client expectations.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
• Ensure all documentation, such as quality records and progress reports, is accurate and up-to-date.

Budget and Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, tracking costs and identifying potential overruns.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring availability and cost efficiency.
• Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.

Requirement

• Understand in drawing (AutCAD, etc.), RAB, Cost Control
• Experienced in high rise building, factory.
• Preferable in Japanese construction company, non-Japanese are also welcome
