Job summary

Flow State is a boutique surf camp and hotel in Balangan, Bali, seeking a reliable Site Coordinator / Construction Supervisor to act for the owners on site during construction.

Joining in the early phase (8–10% complete), you will monitor progress, coordinate between owners, contractors and trades, review drawings, ensure adherence to specifications, and support final inspections and handover through project completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction/site supervision experience.
• Experience with villas, hotels, resorts or similar projects preferred.
• Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to coordinate contractors and trades effectively.
• Honest, reliable and proactive.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp for daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Be on site daily and monitor construction progress.
• Act as the main communication point between the owners and construction team.
• Monitor the main contractor's work and quality.
• Check that construction follows drawings, plans and agreed specifications.
• Identify defects, mistakes or potential problems early.
• Monitor materials, deliveries and site organisation.
• Take regular pictures and provide progress updates to the owners.
• Help coordinate finishing scopes of work to the last 10-15% of the building schedule.
• Coordinate between contractors, suppliers and the owners when required.
• Help track the construction schedule and identify delays.
• Carry out quality-control checks throughout the project.
• Report any issues, additional costs or proposed changes to the owners before work proceeds.
• Assist with final inspections, defect lists and handover.

Job description

Flow State is a new boutique surf camp and hotel currently under construction in Balangan, Bali. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Site Coordinator / Construction Supervisor to act for the owners' on site throughout the construction of the project.

We already have a main contractor, builder and construction supervisor managing the construction workforce. This role is not to replace the existing contractor or supervisor. Instead, you will represent the owners on site and help ensure the project is being built to the required quality, schedule and standards.

Construction is currently approximately 8–10% complete, with the successful candidate joining the project during the early construction phase and remaining involved through to completion

Key responsibilities:

Be on site daily and monitor construction progress
