Job summary

Prana Home Development seeks a on-site Construction Quality Controller in Karangasem, Bali. Your sign-off determines build outcomes, with direct access to ownership.

You will inspect every pour, rebar detail, and flashing, audit progress against the schedule, and push contractors to resolve issues. Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English required, Bali-based.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction quality control or site supervision — real field experience, not just theory.
• Deep technical knowledge of building standards (RC structures, roofing/waterproofing, finishing).
• Strong self-management — you don't need to be chased to get things checked.
• A diplomatic but firm communication style — you hold the line without burning bridges.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and working English.
• Bonus: field engineering background with luxury villa construction experience.
• You must be based in Bali and ready to be on-site in Karangasem daily.

The Role

A villa is built once. Every pour, every rebar cage, every roof detail either holds up for decades or becomes an expensive problem the owner discovers after it's already built in. We're looking for someone who won't let that happen.

This isn't a checklist job. You're the person standing on-site in Karangasem who catches bad rebar before the pour, honeycombing before it's buried under plaster, a flashing detail that will leak before the rainy season proves it. You audit real progress against the real schedule, you push contractors when they're wrong, and you tell ownership the truth — not the version that keeps everyone comfortable. If you think in outcomes, not just tasks, this role gives you real authority to protect them.
