Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is hiring for a ServiceNow QA/Testing specialist to develop and execute test strategies and plans in a dynamic IT environment.

You will validate ServiceNow configurations, ITSM workflows, and integrated systems, lead UAT activities, and develop automated ATF suites to support release validation and production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements.


• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.


• Validate ServiceNow configurations, workflows, customizations, and platform functionalities.


• Test ServiceNow modules including:


• ITSM


• CMDB & Discovery


• Service Mapping


• ITOM


• Employee Center Pro


• Virtual Agent & Now Assist


• Validate integrations with enterprise applications and third-party systems.


• Execute API testing (REST/SOAP) and end-to-end workflow testing.


• Track, manage, and retest defects through resolution.


• Support release validation and production deployments.


• Develop and maintain automated test suites using ServiceNow ATF and automation tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow QA / Testing.


• Hands-on experience with:


• ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)


• API Testing (REST/SOAP)


• CMDB, Discovery & Service Mapping


• ITSM workflows and processes


• Integration Testing


• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.


• Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle management and release testing.


• Ability to lead UAT and quality assurance activities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Employee Center Pro, SAM Pro, and HAM Pro.


• Knowledge of integrations with Datadog, Intune, Okta, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Teams, and Azure/Entra ID.


• Experience with automation tools such as AutomatePro.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)


• ServiceNow ATF Micro-Certification


• ISTQB Foundation Certification
