PT RACHMAT CAHAYASAKTI is seeking a Senior Specifier (Atap UPVC) to build relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and project owners, guiding UPVC roofing products from design to implementation.
You will identify new projects, maintain a project database, present specifications, ensure inclusion in BOQ and tender documents, manage technical documents, and travel as needed to sites.
Senior Specifier (Atap UPVC) is responsible for building and developing relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, owners, and other project stakeholders to ensure the company's UPVC roofing products are considered and included in project specifications, and to oversee the process from planning stage through to product implementation.
Search for and identify new construction projects being planned or underway, including project name, location, developer/owner, consultant, architect, contractor, and key contacts
Create and maintain a database of potential projects and monitor project development from design to implementation stage
Approach architects and consultants to present UPVC ceiling and roofing products, including specifications, sizes, thickness, colours, materials, product advantages, installation systems, warranties, certifications, and product durability
Ensure the company's products are included in project material specifications and provide product recommendations based on project requirements
Conduct technical presentations to architects, consultants, developers, owners, contractors, quantity surveyors, estimators, purchasing teams, and engineering teams covering product specifications, applications, installation, warranty, and cost efficiency
Manage samples and technical documents including product catalogues, technical data sheets, material specifications, brochures, product samples, certificates, warranties, test reports, installation guides, product drawings, and material approval documents
Ensure products are included in project specifications, material specifications, Bill of Quantity/BoQ, material lists, approved materials, and tender documents
Monitor project pipeline status across all stages from prospecting through design, specification, tender, quotation, negotiation, PO, installation, and completion, with follow-up at each stage
Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, consultants, developers, owners, contractors, purchasing teams, project managers, site managers, and estimators
Conduct competitor analysis including competitor products, pricing, specifications, strengths and weaknesses, commonly used brands, and substitution potential
Estimate initial product volume requirements based on area size, application type, material specifications, product sizes, number of rooms/areas, and waste/reserve needs
Support Sales in the closing process by providing project contact information, volume information, assisting with quotations, technical clarifications, technical negotiations, and ensuring products are not replaced by competitors
Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or related fields
Understanding of building materials and construction processes
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Sales Specifier, Specification, Project Sales, Sales Engineer, or similar position
Preferred experience in UPVC roofing, ceiling, UPVC, building materials, interior, construction, or other building materials industries
Experience handling construction projects from design/specification stage through implementation
Understanding of UPVC ceiling and roofing products, technical specifications of building materials, working drawings and project drawings, BoQ/RAB and material requirements, project tender processes, contractor and consultant work systems, material approval processes, material submittals, shop drawings and sample approvals, competitors and similar products, and volume calculations for material requirements
