Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth in the savoury chemicals and ingredients segment in Indonesia. You will manage sales activities, budgets, and debtor control while leading a team and coordinating with suppliers to optimize profitability.

Responsibilities include expanding existing accounts, developing new business, implementing marketing plans, and maintaining CRM records of all client communications and sales activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry desirable.
• +5 years of chemical or ingredients sales experience in food industry.
• Technically sound in Food & Nutrition with ability to demonstrate and communicate the value proposition of nutrition/raw ingredient products.
• Strong understanding of the Indonesian chemical market and regulatory environment.
• Results-driven, resilient, and customer-focused.
• Enthusiastic, self-initiative and aggressive.
• Excellent business/commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed annual sales budget and margin objectives for the assigned territory or market segments.
• Establish strong business relationships with existing customers and develop value relationships with potential clients to expand business.
• Maintain existing account base and identify growth opportunities within savoury segment to expand market coverage and penetration.
• Generate the plan in full cooperation with suppliers and business unit manager.
• Implement and monitor the marketing plan.
• Generate and keep updated a marketing/sales plan for relevant products by identifying key customers and products and monitoring competitors’ activities.
• Utilize the Brenntag Sales Process and update the CRM with client communications/sales activities daily and complete reporting requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
