Pt Ciptajaya Sejahtera Abadi is seeking a highly experienced Senior Power Systems Protection Engineer to enhance the reliability of the regional electrical grid in South Kalimantan. You will design, test, and maintain protective relaying schemes for HV transmission and distribution systems, ensuring fault resilience and coordinated protection.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems focus; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in power system protection engineering.
• Deep knowledge of protective relaying principles and equipment from GE, SEL, ABB, Siemens.
• Proficient in power system analysis software (ETAP, PSS/E, ASPEN) for protection studies.
• Experience with modern digital relays, SCADA, and communication protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850).

Mansioni

• Design, specify, and apply protective relaying schemes for substations, generators, and lines.
• Perform fault analysis, load flow, and stability studies to set protections.
• Oversee testing/commissioning of protective relays and equipment.
• Develop and maintain protection system documentation (SLDs, diagrams, relay files).
• Investigate disturbances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, field, and other stakeholders for integrated solutions.
• Stay current with protection tech and standards; mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC standards and regulatory requirements.
