Pt Ciptajaya Sejahtera Abadi is seeking a highly experienced Senior Power Systems Protection Engineer to enhance the reliability of the regional electrical grid in South Kalimantan. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems focus; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in power system protection engineering.
• Deep knowledge of protective relaying principles and equipment from GE, SEL, ABB, Siemens.
• Proficient in power system analysis software (ETAP, PSS/E, ASPEN) for protection studies.
• Experience with modern digital relays, SCADA, and communication protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850).

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and apply protective relaying schemes for substations, generators, and lines.
• Perform fault analysis, load flow, and stability studies to set protections.
• Oversee testing/commissioning of protective relays and equipment.
• Develop and maintain protection system documentation (SLDs, diagrams, relay files).
• Investigate disturbances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, field, and other stakeholders for integrated solutions.
• Stay current with protection tech and standards; mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, ASPEN) for protection studies.
• Experience with modern digital relays, SCADA systems, and communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, IEC 61850).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
