Job summary

PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia Batang is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design and evaluate high-voltage distribution systems, review SLDs, and perform load flow and short-circuit calculations. You will analyze protection schemes and supervise HV equipment installation and commissioning in Batang, Central Java.

The role requires 2+ years in HV, strong knowledge of power systems, and familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-voltage systems, power distribution, or industrial electrical facilities.
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems, power distribution, electrical equipment, and power system analysis.
• Proficient in reading and preparing Diagram Satu Garis (SLD) and electrical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Familiar with IEC, IEEE, and Indonesian electrical safety standards.
• K3 Listrik or relevant electrical competency certification is preferred.
• Willing to be based in Batang, Central Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate high-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Prepare and review Diagram Satu Garis (SLD).
• Perform load flow calculations and short-circuit calculations.
• Analyze electrical protection systems and relay coordination.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of HV equipment.
• Analyze electrical failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise contractors and technical teams in HV-related activities.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with applicable IEC and IEEE standards, as well as relevant electricity regulations.
