Job summary

Beca is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join our Jakarta-based team. The role focuses on developing electrical designs for high voltage substations up to 500 kV, under supervision, and collaborating with teams in Australia and New Zealand.

Ideal candidates are graduates or near graduates with a background in electrical engineering and strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication, ready to work in a dynamic, multi-country project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
• 1–3 years working experience in designs for high voltage electricity networks; fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Excellent written & spoken communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs of transmission and distribution substations up to 500 kV.
• Work under supervision of a Senior Engineer and with junior staff.
• Develop understanding of Australian and New Zealand client standards; perform self-checks and prepare design packages.
• Collaborate with teams in Australia and New Zealand to deliver coordinated designs.
