Job summary

Beca Group is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer in Jakarta to contribute to energy transition projects in Australia and New Zealand. The role involves developing high voltage substation designs and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in high voltage network designs and possess excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

This is an office-based, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on iconic projects for transmission and distribution clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years working experience in designs for high voltage electricity networks.
• Understanding of international standards such as IEC, AS/NZS, and IEEE.
• Experience in substation layouts and Single Line Diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Development and design of electrical designs of transmission and distribution substations up to voltages of 500 kV.
• Mentor, develop, and lead junior staff.
• Collaborate with teams based in Australia and New Zealand.
