Job summary

PT CCEPC Environment Protection and Energy Comprehensive Utilization Indonesia seeks a Power System Technical Lead to drive major technical decisions in Indonesia’s power sector and coordinate professional engagement with PLN and its affiliates.

You will oversee technical management of generation, transmission, substations, distribution and grid connection projects, and develop local power engineering teams while ensuring compliance with Indonesian standards and project delivery.

• Guide preparation of technical bid proposals and lead clarifications and negotiations.
• Integrate external technical resources from PLN, IPPs, design institutes, and equipment manufacturers.
• Participate in feasibility studies, due diligence and investment decisions.
• Develop local power engineering teams and provide expert technical support.

Power System Technical Lead – BD Support

Serve as the company's highest-ranking technical leader in Indonesia's power sector, responsible for major project technical decisions, technical resource integration, and professional engagement with PLN and its affiliated entities. The role requires strong technical expertise, significant industry influence, and high-level professional networks.

Key responsibilities

Oversee overall technical management of power generation, transmission, substations, distribution, and grid connection projects

Provide power system solutions for power, renewable energy, data center, and industrial projects

Review power system planning, grid connection schemes, load flow studies, short-circuit calculations, protection coordination, and stability analyses

Lead technical discussions with PLN and its subsidiaries regarding grid connection, system access, and technical standards

Guide the preparation of technical bid proposals, ensuring compliance with Indonesian standards, and lead technical clarifications and negotiations

Integrate external technical resources from PLN, independent power producers (IPPs), engineering design institutes, universities, and equipment manufacturers

Participate in feasibility studies, due diligence, and investment decision-making

Develop local power engineering teams and provide expert technical support for project execution

About you

Possesses technical and managerial experience in the electricity sector

Familiarity with Indonesian power grid planning, grid connection approvals, technical standards and PLN's internal technical decision-making processes

Recognised professional influence in the fields of power generation, transmission and distribution, system connection or power planning

Extensive network of contacts within PLN, IPPs, regulatory bodies, design consultancies and industry experts

Experience in technical decision-making, evaluation or approval for large-scale power projects

Ability to translate technical issues into actionable, investable and commercially viable solutions
