Job summary

BDO Indonesia SSS Office seeks a Senior Payroll Consultant to lead payroll engagements for multiple clients, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.

You will manage project teams, oversee month-end and year-end closings, resolve complex payroll issues, and mentor staff while sharing knowledge on payroll, tax, and social security regulations. This role requires strong client and team communication and local regulatory expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics majoring in Accounting with GPA min 3.00/4.00.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in related field.
• In-depth understanding of local payroll laws and regulations.
• Experience ensuring compliance with tax, labor, and social security regulations.
• Familiar with BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions and processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIF, etc.).
• Experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Brevet A & B or USKP A certification preferred.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIF, and other functions for payroll calculations.
• Having experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex payroll calculations and resolve discrepancies.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing payroll data and ensuring precise calculations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with employees, management, and clients or external parties.
• Ability to provide guidance and training to the Payroll Staff.
• Candidates with Brevet A & B or USKP A certification are preferred.

• Take responsibility for assigned tasks, including reviewing and ensuring the quality of the task.
• Serve as a co-trainer in courses to develop both technical and soft skills of team members.
• Share knowledge on new policies related to payroll, taxation, and social security.
