Job summary

The Luxury Collection, Jimbaran, Bali is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to lead its pastry and bakery team in a luxury hotel environment. You will oversee creative dessert concepts, menu development, and high-volume production for all-day dining, banquets, and VIP events.

Based at our Bali property, you will train staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while managing costs and maintaining the luxury brand standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive pastry and bakery experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or upscale resorts.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or Pastry Chef position within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
Proven experience managing pastry production for high-volume operations, including all-day dining, specialty restaurants, banquets, events, and VIP functions.
Experience in menu development, seasonal promotions, and specialty dessert concepts.

Responsibilities

Leads pastry culinary team; oversees daily operations and staff performance.
Maintains culinary standards and sanitation; ensures proper storage and handling of foods.
Develops and executes pastry menus, seasonal desserts, and special dessert concepts.
Manages pastry production for high-volume settings including all-day dining, banquets, and VIP events.
Ensures exceptional guest service through training and coaching of team members.
