Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Indonesia seeks an experienced HSEQ Assurance Lead to coordinate all HSEQ activities across operations and projects in Balikpapan. This is a fixed-term, full-time position lasting 1 year.

You will conduct audits, inspections, and reviews; identify risks and compliance gaps; support incident investigations; mentor HSEQ engineers; and ensure activities meet ISO 45001/14001/9001 and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HSEQ, risk management, audit, or compliance in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ management systems and ISO standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001).
• Experience leading audits, investigations, and improvement initiatives.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Having valid Indonesian ID (KTP).

• Conduct HSEQ audits, inspections, assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Review the effectiveness of HSEQ management system implementation.
• Identify critical risks, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective actions.
• Prepare assurance reports and present findings to COMPANY management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to HSEQ Engineers and Junior HSEQ Engineers.
• Ensure all assurance activities are performed in accordance with COMPANY standards and regulatory requirements.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HSEQ, operational assurance, risk management, audit, inspection, or compliance activities in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ management systems, regulatory compliance, and international standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
• Experience leading audits, assessments, incident investigations, and improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Having valid KTP ( Indonesia ID )
