Job summary

Fairmont St Andrews is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join our leadership team. You will work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to drive the department’s performance, oversee a diverse set of restaurants and bars, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across the resort.

You will lead senior operations, deputise as required, and contribute to budgets and strategic planning while coaching managers and aligning with brands standards.

Qualifications

Experience leading Food & Beverage across multiple outlets in a high-volume hotel or resort.
Ability to deputise for a senior departmental leader and make operational decisions.
Strong commercial awareness including labor, revenue, and cost management.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the F&B department.
Oversee all F&B outlets with focus on service standards and profitability.
Collaborate with Outlet Managers to drive consistency and guest satisfaction.
Deputise for the Director of F&B when required during busy periods.
Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning for the department.
Coach and develop F&B managers and leadership teams.
