Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing industry.
• Experience in heavy industries (e.g., pulp & paper, cement, power, mining) with a solid local network.
• Knowledge of rotary and linear bearings; basic knowledge of electrical direct drives.
• Self-motivated with a sales, project management and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an area sales strategy with the Sales Manager for Sulawesi to boost sales with distributors and end customers.
• Provide up-to-date technical/engineering and service support to distributors and customers in Manado areas.
• Apply value-based, engineering-focused sales considering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Implement sales objectives and strategies to support growth.
• Develop and support partners to build relationships with major customers and ensure service levels.
• Visit application sites to observe technical details and secure bearing supply.
• Report marketing and competitor information to managers.
• Organize trainings and product promotions for distributors and end users.
• Provide responses and solutions to quality complaints and after-sales service.

Your Key Responsibilities

• In coordination with Sales Manager for Sulawesi, develop and implement an area strategy with the aim of increasing overall Schaeffler products sales & services (in conjunction with the distributors & end customers) and provide up to date technical / engineering and service support to distributors and customers in the Manado areas
• Deliver added value to the customer with an engineering-based sales approach including consideration of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Provide up to date technical / engineering and service support to distributors and customers in that designated areas
• Implement sales objectives and strategies for customers within the assigned areas to support our sales growth
• Support & develop our partners in the assigned areas to establish relationship with major end customers and to deliver the required service level to end customers
• Observe technical details by visiting application site frequently in order to secure suitable bearing supply
• Report timely marketing information and competitors’ information to managers
• Identify, co-ordinate and implement training and product promotion to distributors and end users within the areas of responsibilities
• Provide response and solutions to any quality complaint, after-sales service to customers

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, min. 8 years experiences (In Engineering/ Manufacturing Industry)
• Experiences & knowledge in heavy industries (Pulp & Paper, Cement, Power Plant, Mining, Metallurgical Processing, etc.) process and having good network within the assigned areas
• Knowledge on rotary and linear bearings, and basic knowledge in electrical direct drives
• Self motivated with strong interest in sales, project management, customer-oriented mindset with proven sales record
• Outgoing, Organized, Structured, Presentable, Professional
• Computer literacy and good communication in English is a must
