You will enforce best practices in observability, reliability, security, and production support while collaborating with product managers to align requirements and roadmap. Strong leadership and bilingual communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience with 3+ years leading a backend team.
• Hands-on in architecture, design, and high-traffic microservices maintenance.
• Experience with Java and/or Go, SQL, caching, and message queues.
• Proficient in agile software development and project monitoring tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English.
• Strong people development and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams of software engineers in backend system design, development, release, and maintenance.
• Define expectations, review performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide architectural oversight and drive technical direction.
• Ensure observability, reliability, performance, security, and production support.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and manage risks.
• Manage resources, assist roadmap planning, and participate in hiring.
