GeekHunter is seeking a Senior Engineer/Tech Lead to architect and implement scalable backend solutions in Jakarta. You will drive architecture decisions, API design, and system diagrams, while leading a team of engineers through delivery and reviews.

You will mentor engineers, manage dependencies, and ensure reliability, security, and performance across microservices and databases. Knowledge of fintech is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with senior/tech lead roles.
• Strong backend, system design, and architecture knowledge.
• Experience with Node.js/TypeScript and microservices.
• Familiarity with fintech or financial systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Break down technical requirements into actionable tasks with scope and criteria.
• Perform technical analysis and system design before development.
• Design and review microservices, databases, caching, and concurrency.
• Estimate tasks and manage dependencies with the Engineering Manager.
• Lead task distribution based on skills and priority.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to design and standards.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and incidents.
• Analyze performance and optimize across applications and databases.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
