Job summary

Electrum in Jakarta Selatan seeks an experienced Accountant to own accurate and timely accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting support. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Tax, and external auditors to ensure reliable books and decision-ready data.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and coordinating with Tax on filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; fast-paced, multi-entity environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Professional English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, schedules, and month-end close activities.
• Maintain the general ledger with correct mapping, documentation, and adherence to policies.
• Reconcile bank, cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, inventory-related balances, and intercompany accounts; investigate variances.
• Support monthly financial statements, management reports, audit schedules, and statutory reporting.
• Review AP/AR transactions for completeness, cut-off accuracy, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Tax on tax reconciliations and filings, and with auditors on requests and issue resolution.
• Strengthen internal controls, identify process risks, and drive improvements and automation.
• Coach junior accounting team members and provide technical guidance.
