Job summary

Electrum is looking for an Asset & Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team in Jakarta. You will ensure the accuracy and timely reporting of inventory, fixed assets, COGS, and the general ledger, and support ERP and automation projects.

You will monitor inventory movement and asset costs, collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Ops, and assist the FAT Manager and Corporate Finance Team. Experience in ERP implementation and startup environments is preferred; strong English and MS Office skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
4-5 years of experience in inventory and asset accounting.
Experience in ERP implementation.
Past experiences in a start-up or similar environment are preferable.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Good communication in English both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy and timely closing for Inventory, COGS, Fixed Assets, and GL entries.
Involve in finance projects (ERP, automation, etc).
Monitor inventory movement and asset costs.
Work closely with Finance, Legal, Ops to provide inventories/assets insights in operations.
Assist with ad hoc tasks from the FAT Manager and Corporate Finance Team.
Liaise with external auditors and support audits, including responding to auditors' questions.
