Job summary

Confidential, based in Jakarta, is seeking an Accountant for financial reporting and month-end close. The role supports accurate journal entries, asset management, and reconciliations, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting and 2–3 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is preferred, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• 2–3 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled on a timely basis.
• Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including asset registration and depreciation.
• Record and review journal entries with high accuracy, ensuring transactions are properly coded to the correct general ledger accounts.
• Maintain detailed balance sheet account listings and perform periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the monthly closing process and ensure all supporting schedules are properly documented.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Coordinate with internal or cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve closing timelines, streamline financial processes, and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and reporting as required by the Finance team or management.
