Job summary

PT NEW CORAL SEA is seeking a capable accounting professional in Jakarta to manage financial records for the group. You will prepare and record accurate journal entries for multiple entities and help ensure the integrity of the General Ledger.

Working closely with AP and AR teams, you will assist in month-end closing, perform reconciliations, and review supporting documents for accuracy and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GL, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; ERP familiarity.
• Experience with multiple entities and cross-team coordination.
• English proficiency; able to work ASAP.

Job description

Prepare and record accurate journal entries for multiple entities within the group.

Perform bank reconciliation and ensure transactions are properly recorded and matched with supporting documents.

Maintain and manage the General Ledger (GL), including reviewing account balances and identifying discrepancies.

Coordinate with AP & AR teams to ensure settlement transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

Review supporting documents to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and validity of accounting transactions.

Assist in the month-end and period-end closing process, including account reconciliation and preparation of supporting schedules.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Good understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Good understanding of Indonesian taxation and basic tax compliance.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with accounting systems or ERP software.

Experience handling multiple entities and coordinating with AP, AR, Tax, and Finance teams is preferred.

Experience in e-commerce, consulting, professional services, or a fast-growing company is highly preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Good command of English, both written and verbal, and available to join as soon as possible (ASAP).
