Job summary

Electrum is building a connected electric two-wheeler ecosystem in Indonesia. You will join as the accounting lead to ensure accurate month-end close, reliable financial reporting, and strict internal controls. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Tax, and external auditors to produce decision-ready data for leadership.

You will coach junior staff, drive automation, and strengthen processes to support rapid company growth across multiple entities in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience.
• Professional English and Bahasa Indonesia communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Maintain general ledger, account mapping, and policy adherence.
• Reconcile bank, cash, receivables, payables, assets, inventory, and intercompany balances.
• Support monthly financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with Tax and auditors on filings and requests.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements and automation.
• Coach junior accounting team members.

Role purpose

Own accurate and timely accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting support, and control compliance. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Tax, and external auditors to ensure reliable books and decision-ready data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure correct account mapping, documentation, and adherence to accounting policies.
• Reconcile bank, cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, inventory-related balances, and intercompany accounts; investigate variances promptly.
• Support preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, audit schedules, and statutory reporting.
• Review AP/AR transactions and ensure completeness, cut‑off accuracy, and proper supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Tax on tax reconciliations and filings, and with auditors on audit requests and issue resolution.
• Strengthen internal controls, identify process risks, and drive practical improvements and automation.
• Coach junior accounting team members and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands‑on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• High attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Professional English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.

Preferred

• Brevet A/B, CPA‑track, or relevant professional certification.
• Experience supporting external audit, tax audit, and/or fixed‑asset accounting.

Success measures

• Accurate, on‑time month‑end close and reconciliations.
• Clean audit support with minimal rework.
• Timely resolution of balance‑sheet exceptions and control gaps.
