Balance Innovations is seeking a vigilant Retail Loss Prevention Officer to protect a Semarang store in Central Java. You will monitor activities, deter theft, and safeguard inventory while educating staff on security practices and procedures.

The role emphasizes surveillance, incident reporting, and collaborative efforts with management to minimize shrinkage and maintain a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or security, preferably in retail.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and applicable laws.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and monitor store activity for extended periods in Semarang.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store premises to detect theft, fraud, and vandalism.
• Observe customer and employee behavior to identify suspicious activities.
• Conduct surveillance and gather evidence related to loss prevention incidents.
• Apprehend shoplifters when necessary, following company policy and legal guidelines.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to management.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve store security.
• Educate staff on loss prevention best practices and policies.
