Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Sales Representative for Direct Transport Sales Indonesia/East Region, focusing on Semarang. You will expand the market, build client relationships, and drive growth in the Beneficial Cargo Owner sector, with an emphasis on East Indonesia and Semarang.

The role requires strong sales background, excellent communication, and ability to meet sales targets while leveraging CRM processes and internal collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the ocean shipping line or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of the container shipping line market and related services.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and sales operation standard (CRM).
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market territory and segment.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of services.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
