Job summary

PT SIANTAR TOP, Tbk is seeking a seasoned R&D leader to drive development of new food products and enhance existing formulations. The role involves supervising formulation trials, scale-up, and industrial trials, with cost optimization and cross-department collaboration including Production, QA/QC, Engineering, Purchasing, and Marketing.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology/Science or Chemical Engineering, at least 5 years in R&D within the biscuit/wafer/bakery/snack

Lead the development of new products and improvement of existing products. Manage formulation processes, trials, scale-up, and industrial trials. Conduct troubleshooting and cost optimization. Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Engineering, Purchasing, and Marketing. Lead and develop the R&D team.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in food industry, particularly in biscuit, wafer, bakery, or snack

Experience as Supervisor, Section Head, or Team Leader in R&D is an advantage

Understanding of biscuit and wafer formulation and production processes

Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Understanding of GMP and HACCP
