Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a qualified professional to lead marine operations workstreams at our Jakarta site. The role focuses on supervising daily ship operation activities while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate with the Ship's Master, customers, and port authorities to optimize vessel utilization and on-time performance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or Nautical Science, 2+ years in marine

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related field.
2+ years of experience in marine operations, planning, or shipping management.
Strong knowledge of vessel scheduling, port operations, and maritime regulations.
Excellent analytical, coordination, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and marine planning software such as ShipNet or IMOS.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day operational activities related to ship operation.
Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations for safe ship operation.
Manage communications with the Ship's Master and with customers.
Monitor ship movements and cargo transfer operations.
Develop and oversee marine operation schedules for vessel utilization and on-time performance.
